If you have found a pet, please hold on to it if you can and ask neighbors if they know who the pet belongs to before bringing it to Saving Grace! The microchip is injected under the loose skin between your dog's shoulder blades and can be done in your vet's office. It's no more invasive than a vaccination. A microchip is hands down the BEST way to ensure your pet will make it safely home if they are lost.

A microchip is not a GPS. The animal must be scanned and the number looked up in order to find owner information. Owner information MUST be kept current!

You can look up any brand of microchip at petmicrochiplookup.org! If you have found a pet, please have it scanned for a microchip at your local vet or shelter.
