Cats

If you need to surrender a cat...

Saving Grace is only able to accept emergency cat surrenders at this time. An emergency surrender means that:

  • A cat's owner has passed away and there is no one to care for them

  • Stray cats who are sick or injured

  • Cats who have been left behind inside a home (please contact Animal Control at 541-440-4328 in these cases)

  • If your cat falls into one of these categories, or if you have additional questions, please email catterymanager@savinggrace.info to schedule a time to bring a cat in to be surrendered.

We understand that there are circumstances where you are not able to keep your pet. Below is information on Home To Home, an online rehoming website supported by Saving Grace. As there are already more than 400 cats on our waiting list, we have closed the list for the time being in order to try and get caught up. We apologize for any inconvenience.

On any given day our team is caring for about 100 cats in the shelter with an additional 100+ cats and kittens in foster care. While we wish we could do more, this is the maximum number of cats we can care for at this time.
